Module tools

Module tools

Source
Expand description

call_tool’s handlers, one file per tool family (docs/specs/SPEC_LARGE_FILE_MODULE_ANALYSIS_2026_09_30.md §4.2 (a)). Each family’s call handles the tools it owns and returns not_in_family() for any other name, so no tool list is written twice.

Modules§

accounts 🔒
Identity accounts.
browser 🔒
Browser pane control.
cron 🔒
Scheduled prompts (Cron*).
fleet 🔒
Agent-to-agent messaging and fleet operations.
global_memory 🔒
Global Memory.
history 🔒
Conversation history search and transcripts.
loops 🔒
In-process prompt loops (Loop, LoopStop, LoopList).
memory 🔒
Personal Memory.
open_prs 🔒
Open PRs in WhoIsWorkingOn (docs/specs/SPEC_AGENT_OVERLAP_AWARENESS_2026_10_10.md §3.5). They come from GitHub, so they cover agents on every computer. They are read through this agent’s own gh-agent (srv holds no GitHub credential), credited to the agent named by the <Agent>@<host>: title prefix CI requires, and cached for 2 minutes per repository. A PR without that prefix (a person’s or a bot’s, which the prefix rule exempts) is credited to its GitHub author, with no host.
overlap 🔒
Who else is working on the same thing (docs/specs/SPEC_AGENT_OVERLAP_AWARENESS_2026_10_10.md §3.2), and saying what you are working on (ClaimWork, ReleaseWork, §3.4).
panes 🔒
Panes, tabs and windows: open, name, arrange, focus, close; the agent’s own identity and lifecycle.
presets 🔒
Presets.
pty_shell 🔒
PtyShell*: interactive PTY shells.
shell 🔒
Shell, ShellStop, ShellInput, ShellStatus: pipe shells in the agent pane. ConnList: the connections those and PtyShell can run on.
ui 🔒
UI automation and window capture.
widgets 🔒
Widgets: list them, install one the user then approves, open its pane (docs/specs/SPEC_USER_WIDGETS_AND_WIDGET_API_2026_10_09.md §10).
work 🔒
The shared work queue (Work*).

Structs§

NotInFamily 🔒
A family’s answer for a tool it doesn’t own.
ToolCtx 🔒
What every handler may need from the MCP process.

Functions§

call 🔒
Try each family in turn; the first that owns name answers.
not_in_family 🔒
pane_arg 🔒
The optional pane argument: a browser pane this agent opened with OpenBrowser. srv checks ownership; absent = the agent’s own pane.
