Module process_waiter

Expand description

The persistent CLI’s process waiter task, started by spawn_process (spawn.rs): the child.wait() arm (the process exited on its own) and the kill arm (a stop or restart asked for it).

Structs§

ProcessWaiterCtx 🔒
What the process waiter task captures from spawn_process.

Functions§

forget_mcp_servers 🔒
The CLI is gone, so its MCP servers are too (backend::mcp_observed), unless a newer spawn already reports its own. Here, not at the reader’s end of input: a reader can be aborted unfinished (settle_reader_tasks), and a descendant holding stdout open keeps it from ending at all.
settle_reader_tasks 🔒
Wait for the process’s reader tasks once it has ended (stderr up to 500ms, stdout up to 10s), aborting any that overruns. after names how the process ended (“process exit” or “kill”) in the warning.
