The model a freshly opened pane of this provider starts on, or None for a
provider whose model the runtime menu does not wire (it passes no --model).
Mirrors the default: true row of the frontend catalog
(frontend/app/view/agent/providers/catalog.ts), which is where the menu’s
default comes from; providers/runtime-defaults-consistency.test.ts fails when the two disagree.
srv needs its own copy because agent.open builds a pane without going
through the frontend, and a pane opened with no --model runs on the CLI’s
own default while its menu reads this one.
