One task-feed line, reduced to what the registry needs.
Variants§
Started
A shell task started. backgrounded is false for an ordinary
foreground Bash call, which can still be backgrounded later.
Backgrounded
A running task was moved to the background.
Ended
A task ended. tool_use_id is absent on task_updated lines, which
carry only the task_id.
Snapshot
background_tasks_changed: the CLI’s full list of live tasks.
Boundary
A turn boundary (result, or a new session segment’s init), where
tasks that left the snapshot without an end event are settled.
