How a controller-aware agent message was delivered.

Variants§

§

Structured

Delivered on the controller’s structured input channel — a persistent stream-json stdin line or an ACP session/prompt. No PTY keystrokes are needed, and the message lands on the live channel so the agent picks it up mid-turn (steering) instead of only when idle.

§

Pty

The controller is PTY/terminal-based (shell/term) or otherwise has no structured input channel. The caller should fall back to keystroke injection.
