Fields

hits: Vec<HistorySearchHit>

sessions_scanned: u32

Sessions actually opened and read.

total_sessions: u32

Candidates in the caller’s window, counted before max_sessions.

truncated: bool

True when the scan stopped on limit rather than exhausting every candidate — see search_sessions’ doc comment for why this must never be conflated with “no matches”.

complete: bool

True only when every candidate was read to the end: nothing cut by max_sessions, nothing unreadable, no hit limit reached. An empty hits is evidence that something did not happen only when this is true; otherwise the answer is “unknown”, and incomplete_reasons says why.

incomplete_reasons: Vec<&'static str>

"hit_limit", "max_sessions", "unreadable_sessions", "unreadable_records", "discovery_errors".

sessions_skipped: u32

Candidates max_sessions left unopened.

sessions_unreadable: Vec<UnreadableSession>

Candidates that could not be read, and why.

sessions_partly_read: Vec<UnreadableSession>

Candidates searched, but with records that could not be read.

discovery_errors: Vec<String>

What the index refresh behind this search couldn’t read. A session there may be missing from the candidates.

ledger_sessions: u32

Sessions the agent’s own record or segment log names.

record_only_sessions: u32

Of those, sessions whose provider transcript is gone, searched in AgentMux’s record instead.

inferred_sessions_excluded: u32

Sessions found only by working directory or account and left out, because the agent’s own record doesn’t name them. include_inferred searches them too.
