pub struct AppendPos {
pub offset: i64,
pub records_offset: i64,
pub counted: Option<CountedAppend>,
}Expand description
Where an append landed.
Fields§
§offset: i64Byte offset of the first appended byte.
records_offset: i64Byte offset where the appended records start: offset, or one past
it when FileStore::append_lines first wrote a \n to close a torn
last line. The records themselves are normalized_records of the
input, so a reader holding those bytes knows exactly where they sit.
counted: Option<CountedAppend>None when the file is not counted (see the module doc).
